The luxury to self pollute

So as I can afford a lick of gin, have had the luxury to self pollute in my life, while bearing in mind the water crisises of the world as they continue to unfold.

Say in the areas of monsoon where particulates shall always mix. In Bangladesh for example, the villages of people where it is unlikely for one to live over 30, arsenic in everything, from water used to irrigate compounding the issue. Turmoil at the borders. Factories for fast fashion the only funding the world has given the country.

This inethical realm we operate in as hominin. Those with power to improve placebased systems sullied by baser instincts as a means to control masses as human capital for the machine of industry to grow. Kept in tailored media bubbles, distracted by false connection.

Again, so many solutions to be found in nature for what plants can provide to remove heavy metals, but once severe environmental has taken grip it takes quite the collective effort to remediate.

Moringa oleifera and Brake Fern Pteris vittata.

The press cakes of moringa in removing metals from water. The brake fern to be planted to remove some metals from the ground- but then what about food. Food in excess is a luxury. All we need to survive is rations to work together at the end of the day. Yet, to create collective efforts when the poisons of our waste footprint takes over health itself. It brings new challenges to the human psyche.

Yet everything gets worse before it gets better, we all know this.

For we are one species, how easy it is to overthink it and run away from the problem. The problem of maintaining compassion and care for our health as one. Yet when the majority are kept jumping through hoops to maintain finance to live, compassion goes to the wayside as does any care beyond the immediate for any individual.

And one must be cruel to be kind.

So as global strategies unfold, China buddies up to Kazakhstan with the reinvigorated Trans-Caspian rail to complete the TITR. Connecting a land with severe environmental degradation to economic opportunities once more… The pollutants from Yunnan’s mining impacting their neighbouring Vietnam may have to come into question. Considering the 100 women who were taken into China too.

Yet instead of any news reporting on successfully financed consolidation of human made waste, we have news of military conflicts, death at the conflict level, while mining waste and risk compounds. The finance sector veering us all toward a simulated existence as human stocks for access to income.

Again, while a few people on earth could create a basic income for all, so we could regiment towards waste management. Or you know learn to regiment to maintain, restore instead of destroy in this endless cycle we seem to be on as hominin. The endless cycles of empire growth and destruction in the physical realm, a cycle put in play due to the ongoing hierarchies regarding inequitable access to finance which does not chain thyself.
