The impact of “terror” on how we found means to control without internal conflict rearing its head within cities and nations.
Sydney, the knowledge bestowed to me from the generations before me. The impact of both colonization and war on place based knowledge. How compassion, knives and probably kung fu created order in a city without slavery. A city built on the backs of many, the intergenerational poverty. The irony, modern day slavery now burdens the cities flow.
I digress,
The tensions that build cities. There is an art to it.
The many wars, the many different ways trauma is passed down each generation. The beauty of conflict is that who we spend our hours understanding to defeat we slowly appreciate.
Know thy enemy
We can appreciate what was once an enemy when there is forgiveness and compassion in that space. The differences, the similarities.
Unfortunately what can be bridged upon is the want for control. When we think about terror attacks that change cities, a few events in history spring to mind.
But not the Croat 6 of Sydney.
Which, during a time of immense police corruption saw a foiled terror attack based on the information from one informant. This was during the aftermath of the Yugoslav war, with its undertones of ethnic cleansing of the Croats by the Serbs. Immigrants from both communities joining the city.
Sydney as a colony, well we all know the damage to the indigenous population as it varies in all parts of Australia. Where I grew up, smallpox was the main cause of death. Many indigenous, once half cast were further bred whiter each generation.
The many influxes of people from different places and different cultures all with a residual energy of what and who had impacted their lives.
The tensions between the serbian community and croatians still lingers I imagine. Similar to maybe an anti-american rhetoric in little vietnam.
Why is this small thwarted terror attack so significant you may ask?
Well the means to control and how it is saught. How control can be enforced if there is a means to.
What human rights we forgo for “preventative” measures. How we do not evolve through pain when we are kept in echochambers of our past. Like being in a drug coma.
I know the drug coma well – learning the ethics of intoxicants while in love with someone who sold vast quantities of marijuana. (and also drove a camry for a while- I can touch on the relevance of that later).
There are so many ways to numb the human psyche.
Risk simulation of people in high risk or high trigger environments has been commonplace now for sometime- due to many terror events around the globe. Some places worse than others.
Sydney now keeps many people risk profiled to have a “cause of action” in a comfort bubble. “make sure they see something familiar, non threatening”.
As does say a trading port which needs to make people feel “at home”.
The evolution part, I need to talk more about that. But let us focus on how small packages of information can now be delivered from specific data sets to those who control areas that have high value to a large organization. Or even better the areas or zones with numerous organizations as stakeholders for the continued use for business and order.
Ports and planes.
Key links in logistics.
Also for other means such as productivity.
And let us note what addiction is, something that impacts the sense of reward, motivation and memory. Something that hooks you.
Numbs you from feeling something deep down inside that hurts. Something you need to heal to learn from.
What do you think data echochambers do to people and their evolution?
The evolution of human intelligence?
It does not evolve people, this system, only computer control.
Reliant on flawed data analytics and a profile of a person based on whatever the data collator wants to see due to their inherent bias.
Their inability to understand the human condition and need to monotonize outcomes. When the data collators are no longer human, ah that is when it is going to get really fun.
Imbeciles,
Fucking gestapo.
I digress,
So we are faced with a nation with many tensions, the potential for intelligence operatives from external nations with blood allegiances here to meddle. As we dumb down, kill off through suicide those who have been highlighted as a “risk”.
Returned servicemen also come into this bracket.
Yet we all have to do service.
As those who have been highlighted as a risk are typically people who have gone without justice in some shape or form. Who need compassion, understanding from their fellow human.
For what they have endured.
So as compassion decreases and we class anyone fucked over by a wealthier entity or other a “terror” to be kept in a bubble.
The system continues its trajectory to a level of rigidity, it shall most likely break.
As the art of tension for cohabitation is no longer there along with the intelligence of human understanding.
While the economic brackets broaden, many people risk profiled from birth. As maybe I was for reasons I can go into later. Hope decreasing for justice, risk of “terror” profiling increasing.
So as individuals can be classed and scrutinized into brackets, companies however who emplace terror on a city on a different scale are never scrutinized in the public eye. As it seems the systems in place aim to dumb and numb the masses into endless productivity for a means for order. Or no fixed address, to constantly seek shelter. Yet again a risk to intelligent thought itself along with a decreasing power to critique the wider aspects of ones society.
Fujitsu and Sydney, the aftermath of WW2 and the lingering anger of Japan. Those Kamikaze cunts, with a culture and honor I adore. I wonder what it would have been like for my grandfather stationed in Darwin as a corporal, waiting for them on the radar. Half boredom at times I imagine, on edge, wanting more of the enemy.
Love thy enemy.
I digress,
Fujitsu, well lets look at where that specific company has its data centres in Sydney city, with personal data of clients and trading partners. Have a think about whether that data stored is ethical. I wonder how many people hated having their data stored. See how strategic it is.
PS Sydney siders love their Jujitsu- not so much fujitsu
PPS the areas that are high enough risk, that is city centers, ports yada yada you might get a blonde woman in your ear trying to shape you. One of the many gestapos of Aus.
